When your copy is delivered, it arrives as Your Copy—not a draft, not a rough version. The Blueprint Process captures 140+ data points about your business, audience, and market before a single line is written. Your pre-meeting forms, Strategy Session, and onboarding form all feed directly into the copy creation process.

The result is copy that is strategically engineered from the start. If you complete your forms thoroughly and communicate clearly during your Strategy Session, the first delivery should align closely with your vision.

If refinements are needed, that is exactly what the edit round is for—precision adjustments, not a reconstruction.

⏰ 72-Hour Edit Guarantee

How it works:

• 1 round of edits included with every covered copy service
• The Edit Request Form IS the round—one submission, one revision cycle
• Edits are returned within 72 hours of confirmed form receipt
• The second delivery is your final copy

📝 How to Request Edits

1. Review your delivered copy carefully before submitting any edit requests
2. Complete the Edit Request Form—a structured form that walks you through each component of your deliverable
3. Be specific: For each component you want adjusted, tell us what needs to change and what you want instead
4. Submit the form—your 72-hour clock starts when we confirm receipt

The Edit Request Form is sent to you after copy delivery. It is not publicly available—it exists only for active clients with delivered copy.

📅 Edit Window: 7 Business Days

You have 7 business days from copy delivery to submit your Edit Request Form.

• If you submit within 7 business days: Your edits are completed within 72 hours at no additional charge
• If you do not respond within 7 business days: Your copy is considered accepted and approved, and the project is closed
• If you need edits after the window closes: A $350 reopening fee applies to reactivate the project (see below)

💼 Business Days Definition

Business days are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern Time, excluding the following holidays:

• New Year's Day
• Martin Luther King Jr. Day
• Presidents' Day
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Day and the following Friday
• Christmas Eve
• Christmas Day
• New Year's Eve

Additional closures may be announced by WordsmithDirect as needed.

🚨 Edits vs. New Scope

This is an important distinction. Edits refine what was ordered. New scope changes what was ordered.

If your edit request falls into the “New Scope” column, we will let you know and provide a separate quote. No surprises.

✅ Services Covered by This Edit Policy

The 72-hour edit guarantee and 7-business-day window apply to all copy creation services under $10,000:

The following services have different deliverable structures and are not subject to the standard edit policy:

🏢 Enterprise Projects ($10,000+)

Projects at or above $10,000 are classified as Enterprise. Edit provisions are negotiated individually per project contract. Enterprise projects include:

• Complete Product Launch
• Elite/Complex VSL
• Sales Page Funnel
• Long-Form VSL
• Long Sales Letter
• Full DR Sales Page
• Webinar Script
• Webinar Sign-up Funnel
• Product Launch Email Sequence

If your project falls into the Enterprise category, your edit provisions will be discussed and agreed upon before work begins, documented in your project contract.

📦 Multi-Piece Orders

If your order includes multiple deliverables (for example, a Sales Page Funnel with ads, a sales page, and an email sequence), each piece gets:

• Its own 7-business-day edit window (starting when THAT piece is delivered)
• Its own Edit Request Form submission
• Its own 72-hour turnaround

💰 $350 Reopening Fee

If the 7-business-day edit window has closed and you want to request edits on previously delivered copy, a $350 flat reopening fee applies per deliverable to reactivate the project.

• The reopening fee covers reactivation and one round of edits
• The same 72-hour turnaround applies after the reopening fee is paid and the Edit Request Form is submitted
• Scope limitations still apply—reopening does not expand the edit round into new scope

🔍 The Critical Caveat

This edit policy is contingent on you having completed all intake forms (pre-meeting form and onboarding form) completely and to the best of your ability.

Each written form includes a sign-off confirming the information provided is complete and accurate. The Strategy Session closes with an explicit verbal confirmation that you have shared everything relevant.
